TIPS FOR FIRE SEASON

Make sure your homeowners' insurance policy covers wildfire​
Maintain a clearly legible address sign
Keep your gas tank at least half full
Keep a cell phone charger in the car
Keep neighbours’ contact info posted in the house, in your cell phone, in your glove box

Visualize scenarios and how you will respond. For example, an evacuation order:

• while you are in town

• while you are home

• during the night

• when you are separated from family members
